Abstrak

The need for electrical energy is very important in all human life to improve life. One of the needs that cannot be separated from human life today is the need for electrical energy. This study was conducted on the difference in coal weight measurements on belt weigher 01 and belt weigher 02 in the JETTY Area of PT Merak Energi Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out the difference in coal weight measurements on belt weigher 01 and belt weigher 02 in the jetty area. The collected data is then analyzed using the kaizen method with data collection, theme determination, target determination, problem cause analysis, root cause analysis, improvement plan, improvement implementation and evaluation of results. From the results of the application of kaizen to reduce the difference in the tonnage of belt weigher 01 and belt weigher 02 with the results of this draft survey, there is no such thing, because the trial of this application was carried out for 1 year. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the difference in coal measurements occurs in Belt weighter 01 which is often the stability of the flow rate so that the results of coal unloading from barges at coal yards are different from draft surveys. The cause of the difference between Belt Weigher 01 and belt weigher 02 is because the load cell is damaged and the speed sensor is stuck so that the flow rate calculation does not match the settings that have been determined with the results of the integrator. In handling these Belt weigher tools, it uses calibration and periodic checks on the load cell and speed sensor that are stuck due to dirty because employees are not often cleaned.
