PENEMPATAN KARYAWAN PADA ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT DI PT.X MENGGUNAKAN METODE TOPSIS

Abstrak
ABSTRACK
The development of information technology has been growing and affecting data processing so that it can be done easily. One of them is the processing of Human Resources for the employee placement process. PT. X is one of the industries engaged in the production of shoes, currently the process of placing employees, especially in the Engineering Department, still uses the manual method in making decisions to select employees who will be placed in the Engineering Department. The current decision-making process is deemed less accurate, and sometimes the results are based on the intuition of only one party. The decision-making process for the placement of employees in the Engineering Department requires a decision support system (DSS) to help find solutions based on specific criteria and provide various choices. The decision support system used in this study is TOPSIS (Technique for Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). The use of the TOPSIS method aims to assist management decision-making in placing employees in sections within the Engineering Department by the established profile and assessment criteria. The result of this research is to get the best position accepted by employees to be placed in the section in the Engineering Department.
