The Influence of Entrepreneurial Attitudes in Mediating the Relationship between Entrepreneurial Education, Self-Efficacy, and the Role of Parents towards Entrepreneurial Intentions

Abstrak
The objective of this research is to investigate influence of entrepreneurial attitudes as a mediator among Banten Jaya University students, the correlation among entrepreneurial education, self-efficacy, parental roles, and entrepreneurial intentions. The research employed a quantitative approach and utilized random sampling technique conducted on 200 students who were actively taking entrepreneurship courses. The results showed that entrepreneurial education, self-efficacy, and parental roles have a positive impact on the formation of entrepreneurial intentions. In addition, entrepreneurial attitudes were proven to be an effective mediator in strengthening impact of these variables on entrepreneur intention. The study findings suggest that having an entrepreneurial mindset plays a crucial role in shaping the development of entrepreneurial intentions entrepreneurial intentions of students at Banten Jaya University. Therefore, it is recommended for the university to improve entrepreneurship education programs that can build positive entrepreneurial attitudes among its students. In addition, parents also need to provide positive support and motivate their children to become entrepreneurs.
